Masai Mara Safari
This safari will take you to the best loved national park in Kenya to witness the great wildebeest migration, spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebra, giraffe, kudu, crocodiles among other numerous animal and bird species on a Masai Mara Safari.
Masai Mara Safari itinerary;
Day 1: Arrival in the early morning at the airport. Pick up and drive via the Great Rift Valley View Point where you have a stop over to view the sheer drop of the escarpment and the the Rift Valley mountains including Mount Longonot and the Suswa Ranges. Drive down into the Rift Valley and on to Narok town where you have a bathroom stop over. This is the last major stop so you cn stock up on snacks and any beverages you may want. Drive on to Masai Mara arriving for lunch. In the afternoon as the sun begins to cool head out for an afternoon game drive till 6:30 PM. Return to the lodge to freshen up. Dinner and overnight at Mara Ashnil Luxury tented Camp.
Day 2: Have breakafst, you will pick packed lunch and head out in search of the location of the great wildebeest migration. The heards will be moving towards the Masai Mara – Serengeti border near the Serena plains. Head out to the Mara river to see if there is a river crossing that is the highlight of the migration as the wildebeest have to dance with death as crocodiles lie in wait at the river banks to snatch a wildebeest from the heard for lunch. Lunch can be taken here or at a picnic site on the plains of the Mara. Continue on an afternoon game drive before heading back to the Mara Ashnil Luxury tented Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Have an early morning game drive before sunrise to catch the predators as they retire from their night hunt and to take beautiful photos as the sun rises over the plains of the Mara. Return to the camp for late breakfast, mid morning at leisure. you could take a swim or walk around the camp environs that is surrounded by indigenous trees birds and small mammals. You could also chose to have a hot air balloon safari on this day or visit a Masai village (extra activities not in the cost of the safari) Have lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive on the plains of the Mara to spot wildlife. As the sunsets, return to Mara Ashnil Luxury tented Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Have another early morning game drive before breakfast. Check out from the camp and head out on an en-route game drive. Drive from the camp arriving Narok for buffet lunch. Drive to Nairobi arriving in the early evening for your flight home. This marks the end of your Masai Mara Safari.
Price for the Masai Mara safari includes;
-All park entrance fees

-1 liter per person per day bottled water for use during the safari

-Transport in a 4 x 4 Safari Land cruiser with pop up roof for easier game viewing and photography. Exclusive use of safari vehicle throughout the duration of the trip
