We bring hidden luxury to life with four fully serviced villas nestled amid our 40,000-acre conservation reserve in Laikipia, Kenya. Ol Lentille, regarded as one of the top safari lodges in Kenya due to its unrivaled position, unusual beauty, and historic origins, provides a most distinctive approach to luxury tourism fuelled by conservation and community.
Established in 2007, Ol Lentille is one of East Africa’s most unique and exclusive safari lodges for its spectacular location and architecture, pioneering partnership with the local community and completely personalised service and activities.
Gill and John Elias, the lodge’s founders, dedicated it to the local community and operated it under a long-term arrangement after establishing it on community-owned land. Several additional Maasai and Samburu groups have given land to the Ol Lentille conservancy over the years, resulting in a total of 40,000 acres of protected territory that has been re-wilded and may now be enjoyed exclusively by Ol Lentille tourists. As a result of this unique cooperation, Ol Lentille Lodge has a strong connection with the local communities, providing our visitors with unrivaled access to and insight into the lives and culture of the surrounding Maasai and Samburu people.
