Course lay out

The great rift valley golf course is an international standard golf course ideal for testing your golfing skills. The course has some of the longest holes covering 6182 yards through breathtakingly adventurous sights. Most of the holes here are treelined with several water features. The 17th hole is the signature hole and the longest hole covering about 558 yards which offer quite a challenging task to test your finishing power. The 446 yards 6th hole is the longest in the front nine. Having been designed with multiple tees, the great rift valley golf course is an ideal option for both experienced and amateur golfers who want to develop their skills in the swing. In addition, there is a separate practice putting and chipping greens.

The golf course has a good maintainance with a reliable water system that keep the green throughout the year. The grass here is mainly composed of enchantingly contoured kikuyu grass. All hole are superbly bunkered and the five water features creating a unique tranquil abode.

  • On weekdays visitors pay ksh 3500 and ksh 2500 when signed in by a club member/ when booked for accommodation at the golf resort.
  • During weekends you will pay ksh 5000 for visitors and ksh 3500 for guest booked in the golf resort/ club members.

What to do beyond the golf course

  • Go for a safari. The hotel offer a number of group and private day trips to hells gate, Lake Nakuru , Lake Bogoria and Lake Elementaita. Some these excursions comes at a very affordable rate of about 45 USD per person.
  • Play tennis. The facility has two clay tennis courts which are properly maintained and built in the best standards.
  • Go hiking to the peak of Eburru. The peak of the small active volcano boost a sweeping view of three main lakes in the great valley- Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Lake Elementaita.
