Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Naivasha

Pick up from the airport, drive to the Rift Valley viewpoint for a short stop, then depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride among the hippos populating the lake, then to Crescent Island for birdwatching and a walking safari among wildlife such as Impalas, Zebras, Horses, Giraffes, and Wild Beasts. Most of the animals listed are cowards and will do no harm if you do not threaten them. The island is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is Naivasha’s best-kept secret. The shores host abundant birdlife with over 450 different species, including pelicans, yellow-billed and marabou storks, herons, cormorants, ibises, Egyptian geese, fish-eagles with their haunting cry, and many more. Day 2: Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru for a morning game drive until 12 pm, then proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Have a short rest and enjoy the lodge facilities, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset, and return to your lodge. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats, ranging from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and ridges. About 550 different plant species, including the unique and biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, a picturesque landscape, and yellow acacia woodlands. The park hosts over 56 different species of mammals, including white rhinos, waterbucks, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. The park is regarded as the greatest ornithological spectacle on Earth, home to greater and lesser flamingos and other water birds, as well as a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total. Day 3: Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara Game Reserve

 Pick up from Nairobi, depart for Maasai Mara via the dramatic landscape and plains inhabited by Maasai pastoralists, and arrive for check-in and lunch. Have a short rest, then at 3 pm head out for an afternoon game drive until sunset and return to your camp. Full of life, with a variety of animals and birds, the Maasai Mara crowns every safari in Kenya. Its rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have been captured on film time and again, with the movie “Out of Africa” being the most famous. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot, and well-spread rainfall year-round. Apart from the big five, the Maasai Mara is most famous for the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, etc. from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July to September. The reserve is also home to great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, zebras, and thousands of antelopes, impalas, and gazelles. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Mara River, while prides of lions and cheetahs prowl the savannah plains, and over 450 bird species. Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

 Full day in Maasai Mara, where, after breakfast, we collect a packed lunch and depart for a full day game drive. Have lunch at a picnic site near the river. After lunch, proceed with an afternoon game drive to continue spotting wildlife until early evening, when you return to camp to freshen up. The landscape is breathtaking, with a network of roads specifically constructed for game viewing. Certainly, the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, the Maasai Mara, is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests. This 650 sq. kilometer reserve supports the highest game density seen anywhere, given its size. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve- Serengeti National Park

 Early breakfast and with picnic lunch boxes, transfer to Isebania, the Tanzania/Kenya border point for the customs and immigration formalities. Thereafter, meet your Tanzania driver guide and depart for the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive until sunset, then proceed to your camp for check-in and dinner. The park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, with over 3 million large mammals, unbeaten for its natural beauty and its greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The Serengeti is home to the world’s largest populations of Wildebeest, Zebra, Cape Eland, Lion, Cheetah, Hyena, and Gazelles. The scenic beauty of the sky with cool nights and warm days makes your visit to this remaining home for the great migration of large mammals incredible. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and birds is also impressive. Day 6: Serengeti National Park

 After breakfast head out with your packed lunch for a full day game drive in the wilderness in search of the big five animals amongst other animals like giraffes, thousands of elands, Topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes’ scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes, not forgetting different species of birds. The climate of the Serengeti National Park is subtropical, with the rainy season from November to April and the dry season from May to October. a world-renowned World Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site with more attractions than any other national park in Africa. The Great Migration, the Big Five, unique bird collections, endangered species, the highest concentration of carnivores and herbivores, and scenic and spectacular landscapes are among the attractions one will encounter.  All meals and overnight at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) 

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

 After breakfast, collect lunch boxes and depart for Ngorongoro, and on arrival, descend into the crater where you will spend the rest of the morning exploring. The Crater was a huge volcanic mountain, rivaling Mt Kilimanjaro in size. This changed when the top of the mountain collapsed inward, creating the largest volcanic caldera in the world. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands, and forests. In the late afternoon, ascend back and proceed to your lodge to check in, rest, and freshen up for dinner. The Crater was a huge volcanic mountain, rivaling Mt Kilimanjaro in size. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and other animals into the northern plains. The north of the Crater is, overall, much drier and consists of the open grasslands that characterize the Crater floor; this is where most of the residents’ games are held. Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Lake Manyara National Park

 Pick up from your hotel at 8 am, then depart for Lake Manyara, arriving for lunch. The park is the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life; about 400 species have been recorded here. The highlight includes thousands of pink–hued flamingos on their continuous migration, the pelicans, cormorants, and the storks. The park is one of the very few places in Africa where we can see tree-climbing lions, which we may declare our day’s quest. The tree-climbing lions are the park’s main attraction. The park is also famous for its elephants, a large number of baboons, and an impressive range of other game, including wildebeest, hippos, waterbucks, dik-dik, and impala, as well as the breathtaking scenery and the soda-ash lake at the center. After lunch, proceed to the park, where you will spend the rest of the afternoon searching for the wildlife here. At sunset, return to your lodge. Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park – Tarangire National Park

 Have breakfast, collect lunch boxes, and depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire until sunset in search of the big five and other animals found in the park, as well as different species of birds and the huge baobab trees. Proceed to your lodge to check in and have dinner. The park’s name comes from the Tarangire River that runs through it; it is the only source of water for thousands of animals in the dry season, offering a fantastic driving experience. The park is impressively splendid for its famous concentration of wild animals, especially the large herds of elephants, the spectacular natural beauty of the savanna landscape, and the magnificent, majestic Baobabs. Over 550 different bird species have been recorded in the park, of which several are threatened or endemic. It is also home to elands, giraffes, lions, buffalo, cheetahs, leopards, and zebras. Tarangire has bimodal rainfall, with short rains from November to December, long rains from March to May, and a dry season from June to October and from January to February. Day 10: Tarangire National Park – Amboseli National Park

 After an early breakfast and with a packed lunch, depart for Amboseli via the Tanzania/Kenya border point in Namanga for immigration formalities. Thereafter, join your Kenyan driver and drive to Amboseli, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive until sunset, then proceed to your camp for check-in. The Park is at an altitude of about 1200m – 1400m and beautifully situated beneath the foot of the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. It has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds, all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro, melting snow. The park is also home to the Masai people, those tall, brave, and proud nomads who live in close harmony with the environment and the wildlife that surrounds them. Amboseli was the setting for stories by famous writers such as Sir Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark about big-game hunting in the wilds of Africa. Day 11: Amboseli National Park

 Rise early for a good view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Depart for an early-morning game drive, then return to camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning will be spent at leisure, enjoying the camp facilities as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for another exciting game until sunset. Or you can opt to depart after breakfast and with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive, with lunch at the observation hill, and return to your camp in the evening. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. An optional visit to a Masai village can be planned during the day to learn more about their culture and way of life. All meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12: Amboseli National Park- Nairobi- Depart

 Early morning game drive. After breakfast and with a packed lunch, depart for Nairobi, where your safari ends with a drop off at the airport in time for your flight back home. End of our services (Breakfast, Lunch)
