Tee off in Kenya’s best golf courses on your Golf Safari in Kenya. Start your golf safari in Nairobi Kenya playing on the 18-hole championship course at the Windsor Golf and Country Club. Head out to the slopes of Mount Kenya to tee off on the 9-hole, par 3 manicured golf course. You will then head off via the Equator to the Great Rift Valley Golf and Country Club to play on the 18-hole golf course that boasts of one of the longest holes in Kenya at 654 yards. Take a break at the Masai Mara for some quality wildlife viewing before heading back to Windsor for a final round of golf before you depart from Kenya!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we pick you up and transfer to the Windsor Golf and Country Club just at the outskirts of the city for rest. Dinner and overnight. The Windsor golf and Country Club is located 15 kilometers from the airport. The club’s surroundings are green and lush. Bordered by coffee plantations and a forest the environment is cool and quiet, the ideal start of point for your tour. Day 2: Nairobi Golfing (FB)

Breakfast at the Windsor Golf and Country Club. Head of for your first golf session. The club hosts one of the best golf courses in Africa with a championship design. Course length is 7,277 yards set out through tree plantations and a coffee estate with high and low terrain making it a great challenge. The course caters for all levels of experience from beginners to professional players of the elegant game. The greens are fast and true, swanky, and springy fairways, the course is also peppered with awesome challenges offered by 73bunkers, and lakes and streams bringing water into play on nine separate holes. Two of the greens are surrounded by water hazards, adding a great test for golfers.

Have lunch at the resort and the afternoon at leisure. You could talk a walk around the resort or take a swim in the pool. Alternatively, you could visit the gym, sample the available indoor and outdoor water sports including tennis and squash, cycling and jogging. In the early evening, we pick you up and transfer to the Carnivore Restaurant where you have dinner before returning to Windsor for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mount Kenya Safari Club Golfing (FB)

Have breakfast. Drive through the Central Highlands to Mount Kenya Safari Club. Located high on the slopes of Mount Kenya. The Mount Kenya Safari Club lies across the equator as a collection of elegant buildings and luxurious cottages that are set right next to well-maintained lawns and clear water ponds. The resort has a charming manicured 9-hole golf course. The course is well laid out with interspersed ponds, bunkers, and sandbanks. It’s the only course that is bisected by the equator in Africa. You cross from the northern to the southern hemisphere casually as you play a round of golf. You will arrive at the Safari Club for lunch. An afternoon round of golf before dinner and overnight at the Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Day 4: Mount Kenya – Lake Naivasha Great Rift Valley Golf Club (FB)

Have breakfast before heading out across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch at the Great Rift Valley Lodge. The Lodge is located high above Lake Naivasha and has a sweeping view of the Great Rift Valley. The Great Rift Valley Golf course was opened in the year 2000 and has proven to be one of the most challenging of all Africa’s championship courses. The 18-hole course is sculptured around the lodge. The three tee off positions and the fairways are planted to the indigenous Kikuyu grass which remain green and lush throughout the year. All golf holes are well bunkered, and there are five water features on the course. There are resident wild animals who call the fairway home and are given the right of way when playing a round of golf as you shall do after a sumptuous buffet lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Day 5:Full day Golfing Great Rift Valley Lodge (FB)

Full day in Naivasha. You will play a round of golf after breakfast till lunch time. In the afternoon take a boat ride on the lake where there are over 400species of birds, hippos amongst other wildlife. Head out to Crescent Island where you will have a walking safari amongst the wildlife found here. Animals to be spotted include but are not limited to zebras, giraffe, wildebeest, grants gazelle, hippopotamus, bat eared foxes, vervet monkeys dikdiks, impala, bushbuck, Thompson gazelle, and waterbuck. return to at the great rift valley lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve (BLD)

You will play a final round of golf after breakfast. Head out from the Great Rift Valley Lodge in the late morning with packed lunch. Drive across the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in the late afternoon. Lunch at picnic site before embarking on an afternoon game drive till sunset. Head out to Ashnil Mara Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve Full Day (BLD)

Full days viewing wildlife in Masai Mara. You have the option to do a full day game drive or a morning and an afternoon game drive with a break in-between. On the full day game drive, you head out with packed lunch and spend the day spotting wildlife in the park that is home to Africa’s big cats amongst other numerous animal and bird species. Lunch is served at a picnic site deep in the African jungle before proceeding on the afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon head back to Ashnil Mara Luxury Tented Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve Full Day (BLD)

Full day in Masai Mara with a morning and afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi (BLD)

Have breakfast and a morning game drive. Drive from Masai Mara in the late morning for Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon. Drop off at the Windsor Golf and Country Club for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Nairobi – Home (BLD)

You shall have your final round of golf in the morning before checking out of the hotel. Mid-morning at leisure shopping for souvenirs in Nairobi traditional markets. Head out to the airport in the afternoon where your safari ends.
