11 Day Kenya Golf Safari: Nairobi, Naivasha, Masai Mara & the Coast
This eleven-day Kenya golf safari plays five courses from the highlands to the Indian Ocean, with a safari in the middle. Begin at Karen Country Club in Nairobi and Sigona Golf Club, spend three nights at Great Rift Valley Lodge above Lake Naivasha, fly to the Masai Mara for two nights, then fly to the coast to play Nyali and Vipingo Ridge from the beach at Sarova Whitesands.
It’s the trip for golfers who also want a proper safari: Crescent Island and Hell’s Gate at Naivasha, and game drives among the Big Five in the Mara. Green fees are paid locally, so you only pay for the rounds you play.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi (LD)
On arrival, you are met and driven to The Residences at Karen Country Club. After a late lunch, relax in the club grounds or play nine holes on the club course. Dinner and overnight at Karen Country Club.

Day 2: Nairobi – Golf and Giraffes (FB)
Spend the morning on the course, then after lunch visit the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed Rothschild’s giraffes, and the Bomas of Kenya for traditional songs and dances from Kenya’s many communities. Dinner and overnight at Karen Country Club.

Day 3: Nairobi – Sigona Golf Club – Lake Naivasha (FB)
After breakfast, stop at Sigona Golf Club, a tree-lined course full of indigenous trees and flowers, for a round on the way to the Rift Valley. Enjoy a packed lunch on the road, then check in at Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort above Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Golf (FB)
A full day of golf on the Great Rift Valley course, known for its challenging terrain and views over Lake Naivasha, with lunch at the lodge and a leisurely afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Day 5: Crescent Island and Hell’s Gate (FB)
Take a morning boat ride on the lake among hippos and fish eagles to Crescent Island for a guided walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbuck and gazelles. After lunch, cycle through Hell’s Gate National Park between towering cliffs and volcanic pinnacles, and walk into the gorge. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge.

Day 6: Naivasha – Fly to the Masai Mara (FB)
After breakfast, drive to Loldia airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. You are met at the airstrip and game drive to Mara Intrepids in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids.

Day 7: Masai Mara Full Day (FB)
Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives across the “spotted plains” — the meaning of Mara in the Maa language. The reserve is the northern part of the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem and home to the Big Five, cheetahs and huge herds of plains game; from July to October, the wildebeest migration arrives. Dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Fly to Mombasa (FB)
Relax at camp after breakfast and enjoy lunch, then transfer to the airstrip for your afternoon flight to Mombasa. You are met at Moi International Airport and taken to Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort on the north coast. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Whitesands.

Day 9: Nyali Golf Club (FB)
After breakfast, play 18 holes at Nyali Golf & Country Club, with palm-lined fairways, plenty of bunkers and water, and colobus monkeys in the trees. Lunch, then an afternoon round or time on the beach. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Whitesands.

Day 10: Vipingo Ridge Golf (FB)
After an early breakfast, transfer up the coast to Vipingo Ridge to play 18 holes on its PGA-accredited Baobab Course, which has hosted the Magical Kenya Ladies Open. Lunch at the club, then return to Mombasa for a final dinner. Overnight at Sarova Whitesands.

Day 11: Departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for your flight to Nairobi and your connection home from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
