This is a memorable tour that takes you to Amboseli National Park, the second most popular park after Masai Mara and the Tsavo National Parks, the largest national parks in Kenya. This safari is ideal for guests who seek privacy or those who love nature.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your guide will be at the hotel/ airport between 0700hrs – 0800hrs. After the briefing your safari adventure will start immediately you board your safari vehicle, you will drive through the scenic Athi Plains, Kenya/ Tanzania border and on to the bush country of Amboseli National Park. This will take you approximately 5 hours. Have an en-route game drive as you proceed to Amboseli Serena Lodge for check-in and Lunch. Later you will have some time to relax, swim and enjoy the lodge’s grounds. Enjoy an afternoon tea/coffee then head out for an exciting game viewing and return to the camp before sunset for rest, dinner &overnight. {Lunch & Dinner}

ABOUT AMBOSELI

Amboseli National Park is situated on the foothills of the highest mountain in Africa as well as the highest free-standing mountain in the world: the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the home of the famed Masai people; these tall, proud nomadic warriors have legendary skills in battles and their single-handed acts of bravery infighting wild animals have spread all over the world. There are over 900 free ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeest and many more animals such as giraffes, elands, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, antelopes and not forgetting the BIG Five –Lion, Leopard, Rhino, and Buffal

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park (FB)

Rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit and enjoy a short game drive. Return to the camp for a sumptuous breakfast then leave the park as you enjoy an en-route game drive and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive at Kilaguni Serena Lodge for check-in and lunch.

 

The 58 en-suite tended lodge was the first to be built in this park and is sheltered by the magnificent Chyulu Hills. This classic lodge overlooks its own waterhole where animals come to drink water mostly in the morning or in the evening.

 

After lunch head out for a game drive chancing to see what you didn’t see while in Amboseli. We will also make a special stopover at the Mzima Springs; a favorite hunt for crocodiles and hippos, from an underwater tank; it is sometimes possible tosspot hippos along the floor of these crystal springs. As the sun starts going down return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}

ABOUT TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

Tsavo West is one of the world’s bio-diversity strongholds comprising of a variety of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrubs, acacia woodlands and outcrops. With a permanent source of water – Mzima Springs, the park guarantees huge number of herds and excellent game viewing including Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Rhino, Zebra huge herds of animals and many more. The park also has a prolific bird life of over 450 species of birds.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park (FB)

This morning you will enjoy an early morning game drive in the park before breakfast. Return to the lodge for breakfast then leave for your next destination- Tsavo East National Park as game view. Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch. After rest a little then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive in search of giraffes, zebras, gazelles, hartebeests as well as the must-see animals (BIG FIVE). In the early evening return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight. {Breakfast, Lunch &Dinner}

ABOUT TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Tsavo East National Park is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions (named so because of the numerous killings of the Indian Laborer during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway line that passes through the park). The landscape is flatter and drier despite having the one of the Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle-Galana River. The park hosts over 450species of Kenyan birds and other animals both small and big including the BIG five.

Day 4: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi (FB)

Enjoy an early morning game drive. There are interesting aspects in the open area of the park including the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flow plateaus. After a successful game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and thereafter proceed to Nairobi arrive there in good time for you to rest in your Nairobi Hotel or drive to the airport where our safari ends.
