3 Day Amboseli Fly-In Safari at Amboseli Serena Lodge
This three-day Amboseli fly-in safari takes a short scheduled flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport straight to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. With two nights and a full day in Amboseli National Park, you have time for sunrise drives, when the mountain is usually at its clearest, and long afternoons with the park’s famous elephant herds.
Your game drives are private, in an Explorer Kenya 4×4 Land Cruiser with an experienced driver-guide who meets you at the airstrip. You stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge, built in the style of a Maasai village beside the swamps, where animals come down to drink within sight of the dining terrace.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Amboseli (LD)
We collect you from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and take you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli. Your Explorer Kenya driver-guide meets you at the airstrip, and you game drive on the way to Amboseli Serena Lodge, arriving for lunch. Amboseli’s swamps are fed by water filtering underground from Kilimanjaro, and they draw large herds of elephants, buffalo, wildebeest and zebras, along with lions, cheetahs and hyenas. After a rest, head out on an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day (FB)
Head out at dawn for the best light on Kilimanjaro, then return for breakfast. With your own vehicle, you can spend the day as you like: stay out with a picnic lunch, or rest at the lodge through the heat of the day and go out again in the afternoon. Drive up Observation Hill for views over the swamps and plains, and look out for some of the park’s 400-plus bird species, from pelicans and kingfishers to crowned cranes. Amboseli’s elephants are some of the most studied in Africa, and you can often watch family herds at close range. An optional Maasai village visit can be added. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli – Fly to Nairobi (B)
Enjoy a final early game drive, when predators are most active, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Game drive to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport, where we meet you and transfer you to your hotel or the international airport.

Prices are in US dollars per person sharing for the full 3-day safari, including return flights between Nairobi (Wilson) and Amboseli, exclusive use of the safari vehicle and everything listed under Package Includes. The single supplement is per person, added for a single room. Easter dates (26–29 March) use the Easter row.
