3 Day Masai Mara Fly-In Safari at Mara Maisha Camp
Skip the long drive and fly straight into the Masai Mara. This three-day fly-in safari takes a 45-minute scheduled flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Keekorok airstrip, giving you two nights and a full day in Kenya’s greatest reserve with no time lost on the road.
Unlike many fly-in packages, your game drives are private: an experienced Explorer Kenya driver-guide meets you at the airstrip with our own 4×4 Land Cruiser, reserved for your party. You decide when to go out, how long to stay with a sighting, and whether to spend a whole day on the plains with a picnic lunch. You stay at Mara Maisha Camp, a tented camp with a pool near Talek Gate, close to some of the Mara’s best game country.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to the Masai Mara (LD)
We collect you from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and take you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Mara. Check-in is one hour before departure, and luggage is limited to 15 kg per person in a soft bag. The 45-minute flight crosses the Great Rift Valley before landing at Keekorok airstrip, where your Explorer Kenya driver-guide is waiting. Game drive on the way to Mara Maisha Camp, whose 40 raised tents each have an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, head out until sunset in search of lions, cheetahs and elephants. Dinner and overnight at Mara Maisha Camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day (FB)
With a private vehicle, the day is yours to plan with your guide. Leave at first light with a packed breakfast to catch predators on the move, or take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day on the plains, heading towards the Mara River where hippos and crocodiles gather and, from July to October, the wildebeest migration makes its famous crossings. If you prefer a slower pace, return to camp for lunch and a swim and go out again in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mara Maisha Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Fly to Nairobi (B)
Start the day with an early game drive or an optional sunrise balloon flight, then return to camp for breakfast. Game drive back to Keekorok airstrip for your 45-minute flight to Wilson Airport, where we meet you and transfer you to your hotel or the international airport.
