The Masai Mara Flying Safari Package takes off from Wilson airport. We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Wilson airport to catch a light aircraft for the 45-minute flight to Masai Mara. Game drives are done using 4×4 Land Cruisers and can be either private or in a shared lodge or camp 4×4. When using our private openside 4×4 Land Cruiser you have the luxury of deciding game drive times with your driver while when using the shared lodge or camp vehicle, game drives are fixed and take place on a schedule that cannot be varied. You have 4 game drives in Masai Mara and on the third day, you fly back to Nairobi where we pick you up at Wilson airport and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or the airport.
Our driver guides and vehicle provide you with the flexibility to do game drives as you wish and do longer game drives since lodge game drives are limited to 2 hours per game drives. Using our vehicles means you can doe either full day game drives or morning and afternoon game drives and leave with packed breakfast or packed lunch if on a full day game drives. You get unparalleled flexibility when you use our vehicles and guides.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome as we collect you from your hotel or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for a private transfer to Wilson Airport, where you’ll board your scenic flight to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
Please note: Check-in is required one hour prior to departure, and baggage allowance is limited to 15 kilograms per person.
Relax and enjoy the breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley during your approximately one-hour flight. Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, you’ll be met by your lodge’s professional driver-guide and transferred in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle to your luxurious retreat.
Your accommodation—Mara Serena Lodge, an acclaimed property celebrated for its panoramic views and elegant design—offers the perfect balance of comfort and authenticity. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch (for morning arrivals), then unwind at leisure—perhaps by the pool or simply admiring the sweeping vistas of the Mara plains.
Later in the afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., set out for your first thrilling game drive, exploring the Mara’s vast wilderness and witnessing its abundant wildlife.

Return to the lodge as the sun sets over the savannah, arriving between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. for a delectable dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Awaken to the sounds of nature and embark on an early morning game drive at approximately 6:15 a.m., the perfect time to observe predators on the prowl and herbivores grazing in the cool morning light.
Return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast, then enjoy the morning at your own pace. Relax by the pool or indulge in optional experiences such as a Maasai Village visit or guided nature walk (available at additional cost).
After a gourmet lunch, set out once again for an afternoon safari game drive, exploring the Mara’s diverse landscapes and wildlife-rich habitats.
As the golden hues of sunset bathe the plains, return to your lodge by 6:00 p.m. for a relaxed evening, perhaps accompanied by traditional Maasai entertainment and a fine dinner.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the Mara, soaking in the tranquility of your surroundings before check-out. You’ll then be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi (approximately one hour).
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, your driver-guide will meet you for your onward transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your international departure.
