2 Day LUMO Conservancy Safari from Mombasa
Just a few hours’ drive from the Kenyan coast, the 48,000-acre LUMO Community Wildlife Conservancy lies between Tsavo West National Park and the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, forming a wildlife corridor that links Tsavo with Tanzania’s Mkomazi Game Reserve. Run by the local Taita communities, it offers wild, uncrowded game viewing: elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes and lesser kudu, with a rich variety of birdlife.
You stay at Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge, perched high on a ridge with sweeping views over the Tsavo plains to Mount Kilimanjaro. It is an easy overnight escape from Mombasa or Diani.

By road
Day 1: Mombasa or Diani – LUMO Conservancy (LD)
Your driver-guide collects you from your beach resort in the morning for the drive inland to LUMO, arriving at Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge in time for check-in and lunch. After a short rest, head out on an afternoon game drive until sunset, looking for elephants, lions, buffalo, Masai giraffes, zebras, hartebeest, lesser kudu and dik-dik. Dinner and overnight at Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge.

Day 2: LUMO Conservancy – Mombasa or Diani (B)
Set out on an early morning game drive of about two hours, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Check out and drive back to the coast, with drop-off at your beach resort or the airport.
