3 Day Masai Mara Luxury Tented Safari at Ashnil Mara Camp
A three-day Masai Mara safari is the classic short safari from Nairobi: two nights under canvas, a full day in the reserve, and a good chance of seeing lions, elephants, buffalo and cheetahs. It fits easily before or after a beach stay or a business trip.
You stay at Ashnil Mara Camp, a luxury tented camp inside the reserve on the Mara River. Tents have proper beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers and verandas facing the river, and the camp has a pool for the hot middle of the day. By road
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara (LD)
We collect you from the airport or your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM. After a short briefing, drive out through Limuru to the edge of the Rift Valley for a photo stop above the valley floor, with Mount Longonot and Mount Suswa in the distance. Wind down the escarpment to Narok for a short break, then follow the Sekenani road into the reserve, arriving around 1:00 PM. A welcome drink and lunch await at Ashnil Mara Camp. After a rest, head out on an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day (FB)
The day is yours to shape with your guide. Either spend it all out in the reserve with a picnic lunch, or go out at sunrise and again in the late afternoon, with lunch, a swim and a nature walk at camp in between. For something special, start with an optional hot air balloon flight and champagne bush breakfast, or visit a Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture and daily life. Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi (B)
Enjoy breakfast by the river, then leave the reserve in the late morning, with a last game drive on the way out. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon, and we drop you at your hotel or the airport.
