This safari takes you to Kenya’s most famous parks. Masai Mara is home to the Masai tribesmen who have for centuries roamed wide and free with their cattle and learned to co-exist with wildlife. The savannah grasslands of the Mara are filled with wildlife all year round. Animals include the big five (lions, elephants, rhinos, Cape buffalo and the sly and elusive leopards. Lots of other species can be seen in the Mara. You get to visit Lake Nakuru which is the best place to spot leopards and the endangered white rhinos. Drive south to Amboseli, home to the largest population of elephants and located at the base of the snow peaked Mount Kilimanjaro. This safari shows you the best of Kenya and will ensure you leave the country with fond memories that will last a lifetime.

An extension to any Masai Mara safari. You soar high in the sky over the plains of the Mara while watching wildlife roam below you as they have done over the centuries. The burst of propane burners as controlled by your experienced pilot and the click of cameras are the only noises that will interrupt the tranquil African morning. The feeling is incredible. Spot herds of wildebeest, lions, elephants, gazelles, impala, cheetahs among other wildlife before descending to a hot breakfast, served right in the middle of the Mara among the wildlife. A champagne toast to a successful and memorable flight will end the great morning when you soared high above, wild and free on your Masai Mara hot air balloon safari.
World re-known as the best place to view elephants, Amboseli is Kenya’s second most popular national park. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro on an ancient dry lake bed. Amboseli offers a great alternative to those who have already been to Masai Mara or as an extension to your Masai Mara safari. Streams flowing from the snow peaks and glaciers on Mount Kilimanjaro form marshes and pools that attract numerous species of wildlife that you will see on your game drive. This park is only 3 hours away from Nairobi so it makes a great get away for those with a short time to spend in Kenya and have 2 or 3 days for a quick Kenya safari.
Wildebeest Migration in Masai Mara
Now recognized as the seventh wonder of the modern world, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari is a spectacle to behold. Millions of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes embark on a perilous annual trek from the plains of the Serengeti to Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of pasture and mates. Followed closely by packs of hyenas, prides of lion, leopards and cheetahs, the great migration follows ancient trails that lead to the Mara river where Nile crocodiles lie waiting patiently for the annual feast. The smell of the jungle, dust, sweat, terrified animals and brave herd leaders will all brave the rivers mightily current, the jaws of the crocodiles and carnivores to get to the green plains of the Mara where life giving food awaits them. Book your spot on the last great animal migration happening this July to September only in Masai Mara Kenya.
