MANDA BAY

MANDA BAY

Manda Bay is a tiny privately run boutique lodge situated on the northern tip of Manda Island in Kenya’s Lamu archipelago. An unspoiled, remote area where you can disconnect from the the outside world, take your shoes off, and enjoy basic beauty in palm thatched huts and open living spaces. Manda Bay offers the ideal bush and beach experience, with miles of fine white sand on a private beach and Coconut trees intermingled with Doum palms, Acacia Tortilis, and a variety of fauna.  Manda Bay is the ideal destination for families, newlyweds, and couples searching for the ideal ‘no shoes, no news’ vacation, and is known for its beautifully relaxing attitude and wide range of activities. Bottom fishing, trolling, and fly fishing are available in the bay for people of all ages and skill levels. The tide decides the time of day you will go out, however this is usually in the mornings or nights. From May through October, the creek is ideal for bottom fishing. Fly fishing and trolling are excellent from October to April.
