The camp is perfectly located on the banks of the Njageteck River in the Mara North Conservancy, allowing you complete solitude and exclusivity. The Ngoyanai springs offer perennial water, attracting a huge number of animals to the region surrounding the camp. This camp is also well-known for its resident lion pride, which can frequently be seen prowling in front of the camp and howling at night.
Richard’s River Camp is a premium tented camp in the Masai Mara for the discriminating tourist. We assure a pleasant and unforgettable safari by designing it with privacy, exclusivity, and adventure in mind.
Some of the workers at Richard’s River Camp have worked there for numerous years; one member of staff has been with the Robert’s family since 1980 and has no plans to retire any time soon! The Masai tribe makes up the majority of our personnel, and their families reside in the Mara. The guides at the camp are also Masai, so they know all there is to know about the environment; they have also spent several years guiding beside Richard and are wonderful people to spend time with in the Mara.
