Serian’s tent-based mobile camp, Nkorombo, is located in the Masai Mara Reserve on an exclusive riverfront site. This cozy little place is packed with character and has a view of the Mara River, which is teeming with giggling hippos and lazing crocodiles. Life in Nkorombo is quiet and unassuming, just like it is in Serian and Ngare Serian. The camp is next to a bustling salt lick where black rhino, lions, and leopards on the prowl frequently congregate. It is tucked away among a stand of wild olive and orange croton. This region is ideal for breathtaking wildlife viewing because it has a lot of prey.
The ancient custom of eating a meal around a community fireplace… We are social beings, and part of what makes things vivid and real to us is our ability to share. The joy is breaking bread along with others, which is really a community experience. This allows you to analyze your day, rake over the delectable nuances, and repeatedly reveal the delights. It’s also a component in assimilating and storing memories because doing so makes the experience more vivid and helps it take up space in our memories.
