KIRURUMU SERENGETI SOUTH CAMP

KIRURUMU SERENGETI SOUTH CAMP

Kirurumu Serengeti South Camp is a luxury mobile camp that moves seasonally to take advantage of the Serengeti’s vastness.

Because the migration is unpredictable but always approachable from our campgrounds, we leverage our seasonality and possibly shifting camp sites within a geographical region as the most strategic. In general, we avoid congested places and utilize our exceptional expertise and many years of experience to be positioned in less populated yet ideal for wildlife regions.

In June, the camp relocates to the breathtakingly picturesque Moru Kopjes. Moru is a one-of-a-kind location for the Serengeti Rhino project, and it also has a significant population of Lions with numbers comparable to Seronera, however unlike Seronera, the region is less congested and much more rural and private. Because the resident wildlife is abundant, the Lion population is robust. The migration may or may not pass through the area in June, and the pattern of the migration is difficult to predict because it is affected by weather patterns and the availability of water for huge herds.
