Lemala Ewanjan is a genuine tiny tented camp located in the game-rich Seronera Valley of the Central Serengeti. The Seronera region is a critical wildlife transition area in between southern grasslands and the northern forests, and it is well-known for its year-round game watching due to the quantity of water in the region’s many rivers, as well as its high populations of resident big cats. Furthermore, this area is traversed by the yearly wildebeest migration between April and June, then again between November and January, providing always fascinating wildlife drama.
We deliberately placed Lemala Ewanjan at the end of a blind valley so that other cars do not obstruct your view across the plains during the day, and you can enjoy unimpeded sunsets with no electric lights in sight in the evening. The 12 en-suite tents are roomy and comfortable, with an outdoor balcony affording excellent views of the surrounding countryside. Each tent has two queen-size beds with warm duvets, a flush toilet, a spacious safari-style shower, plenty of running water, wooden storage cupboards and floors, 24-hour solar illumination, and outdoor loungers for early in the morning teas and coffees and delightful afternoon gin and tonics.
