LAKE NDUTU LUXURY TENTED CAMP

LAKE NDUTU LUXURY TENTED CAMP

The southern region of the Serengeti, known as the Southern Plains, has broad grassy plains where African Mecca visitors are treated to outstanding wildlife safaris where they may see grazing animals attracting crafty feline predators. The region encompasses Lake Masek, Lake Ndutu, the Gol Mountains, Naabi Hill, and the Ngorongoro Highlands to the southeast, as well as the Maswa Woodlands and Kusini to the south. The location is beautiful at any time of year, but the greenest season is from December to March, when the rains help paint the landscape a bright emerald. The availability of food attracts grazers from all around, including Great Serengeti Migration wildebeest herds arriving for calving season. In turn, the prey animals attract the sharp senses of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other meat-eaters. As a result, it’s a never-ending war for survival.

Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge is well suited for your nature-centric wilderness trip, set among distinctive acacia trees in Tanzania’s backwoods and overlooking its gorgeous namesake lake. The camp is located in the southern Serengeti plains’ Ngorongoro Conservation Area, allowing you easy access to animal watching and a variety of safari activities.
