Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is one of the earliest safari lodges to be erected in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which explains why its lawns and trees are so lush and mature. It is situated high on the foothills of the Oloolaimutia Hills. The remarkably large public area structures and the swimming pool are located in the middle of the buildings, which are all constructed in the style of traditional African round huts with conical roofs. It is without a question one of Africa’s most well-known safari locations due to the presence of lions, the Great Wildebeest Migration, and the Maasai people, who are well-known for their distinctive culture and attire.
Large open spaces and cottage-style guest rooms blend in subtly with Africa’s enormous landscape and are emblematic of the customs of the people who make up Kenya and Tanzania’s unique tapestry of local cultures. Every building on every one of our estates has been placed with care to provide the greatest views of the forest while also providing an unmatched ambiance in a cool and opulent setting.
