With 8 guest tents, including a 2-tent family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent, this is our newest bush camp. There is a private bathroom with a shower, a vanity, and flush toilets in every guest tent. A Kingsize bed, 2 Twin beds, or triples are available upon request. In the lounge, you can chat with other travelers and tell them about your safari adventures while sipping complimentary Tanzanian coffee or tea. Breakfasts, lunches, and evenings are served in the dining tent. In addition, we provide daily freshly prepared private bush meals on the crater floor. Bush TV, as campfires are known locally, is lighted when the conditions are favorable.
This camp boasts a 180o view towards Tarangire Hill and is located in the center of Tarangire National Park, overlooking Tarangire River and not far from Kuro Airstrip. Only 5 km from the Silale Swamp Plains, where thousands of elephants frequently congregate, Tarangire is renowned for its dense population of big cats, tree-climbing pythons, and even kudus and the elusive oryx. This is the spot to enjoy the bush in all its glory because it allows for waking Safaris and Night Game Drives. Camp is located 1 km from Kudos Airstrip.
