Robanda is at an ideal location for a memorable wilderness adventure. The location was carefully planned to lie directly in the line of the wildebeest migration, offering outstanding game viewing throughout the migration. However, the camp has a high resident game concentration all year round, with large herds of wildebeest and zebra, elephant and giraffe. Other animal species include lions, hyenas, gazelles, topis, and buffalo. Robanda Safari Camp, located just outside the Serengeti National Park, provides an exceptional chance for night game drives and walking safaris. Activities that are not available within the national park. Robanda is a tiny and private camp with only 7 tents, allowing it to provide a more personalized experience to visitors who do not want to experience the noise and bustle of larger camps.
The tented rooms are fairly big, with either double or twin beds and an adjoining bathroom. Each tent offers an own veranda with a stunning view of the Serengeti grasslands, where herds of wildebeest and zebra may be observed. The “bush type” tents are permanent transportable tents. Each tent has its own private bathroom with a bush shower and toilet. Following an exhilarating day of game drive, the panoramic open café with lookout tower serves great meals and cool refreshments.
